Based on the this case, we would like to share some key steps of the clearance here for the imported equipment
1.Submit the well-prepared documents for declarations. Customs will review the docs carefully, with the model, specifications and declared prices as the key points.
2.China customs will take the international market prices, the transaction prices of similar /same equipment, the declared prices of similar/same equipment as recorded at customs system, and the actual condition of the equipment for reference and determine the price based on which the import taxes shall collect
3.China customs will open the package and inspect the equipment to check if they are consistent with the info that has been declared, including brand, model, quantity, country of origin etc. China custom will grant the shipment a release status if no issue spotted during the inspection.
